Swooning right along...

 Well, I quickly finished up my second "Swoon" block this morning.  What a sense of gratification.  

I defaulted to my comfort zone colors on this one, as you can see.  And tossed in a solid for good measure.

Does anyone else get that warm fuzzy feeling when all your points match up beautifully?

And seeing them together... I'm totally smitten.

In other news this week, we took a beautiful hike and rustled ourselves up a Christmas tree.

In Colorado the Forest Service sells permits allowing you to cut your own tree within designated areas.  It's a wonderful tradition to start if you are not OCD about finding a "perfectly" formed tree, and can appreciate a tree with some character!
