Remember way back when (in March to be exact), I did that project reveal of the quilt for my mom?
Well I finally finished it on the 3rd, and since we were celebrating July 4th on Lake Michigan I was able to give it to her in person!
It was an appropriate finish for the 4th, with all the red, white, and blue!
The photos don't show the quilting well, but it's quilted a quarter inch on both sides of each seam and I used Aurifil 50wt in Dark Navy.
It's another beautiful day here at the Lake, and it's also our last day, so I'm not going to spend it on the computer! I'll be back in a few days to show you the Modern Maples quilt which is also complete!
