A Quilt Top Finish: Modern Maples

To start, let me just say that I am in LOVE with this quilt top.
The whole thing came together really quickly, which is always a bonus!

Today I'm working on on the backing for it-- I'm thinking it will just be a hodgepodge of different fabrics.
Right away I knew what fabric I wanted for the binding, and got the order placed last night... it's a rare thing for me to be so decisive!

My decisiveness does not extend as far as how to quilt this though... the verdict is still out on that.  I'm open to any suggestions you may have.  I also have yet to decide if I'm going to keep or sell this quilt... luckily I have a little while yet before I have to make up my mind!

Thanks to the ever wonderful Mr. Trio for being my quilt holder today!
And I'll end this post with a seemingly random picture of my trimmings pile from this quilt.  I couldn't help myself-- sometimes great beauty can be found in simple things we're often too quick to discard.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
