Despite having other things I should be working on, this week I have been bitten by the Modern Maple bug. And I've been having so much fun with these blocks that I'm flying through them!
I'm going for a bright fall look (despite it being summer). I'm in love with the orange, purple, and pink color combo in particular!
There is a smorgasbord of fabric lines in here: Hope Valley, Chicopee, Flea Market Fancy, Aviary, Architextures, Madrona Road, Mama Said Sew, Kona Solid... and a few more which I cannot recollect.
I cannot wait to get this one finished!
Absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeletep.s. do you know you word verification is on?

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Cheryl!
DeleteThese fabrics look just like New England in the fall :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I recently moved back east from living in Colorado for the past 7 years, and the fall colors are what I am most looking forward to-- I missed them so much!
DeleteI love maple leaves! Do you remember what or where you got the music note fabric? I love the all the backgrounds! :)
ReplyDeleteLuckily I have selvage on that fabric! It's a Quilting Treasures fabric called Tidings of Great Joy. I got it at a small shop in Fort Collins, CO some time ago. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
DeleteI always think I should sew a season ahead so that the quilt is done when it finally arrives. Love the traditional pattern with modern fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's a rare thing for me to be a step ahead of the game/season, lol!
DeleteAH! This is so amazing!
